About Us

Inspire To Act is a women and youth rights focused Non- Profit Organization (NPO) in Ghana that promotes equal enjoyment of rights by all including socially disadvantage and marginalized groups to live fulfilled lives.

Vision

A just and inclusive society where girls, women, young people, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) have equal rights and opportunities to thrive and reach their full potential.

Mission

Our mission is to empower women, girls, young people, and marginalized communities by creating opportunities for socio-economic advancement, ensuring access to sexual and reproductive health and rights, and strengthening their ability to hold duty bearers accountable for the effective and equitable use of public resources.

Our Programs

PROMOTE UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO HEALTH

We strive for Universal Access to Health (UHC) by women, girls, youth and PWDs by promoting their unlimited access to;

  • Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights information and services;.
  • Knowledge and practice on Maternal Newborn and Child Health.
  • Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities and Climate Change early diagnosis and detection for HIV/TB.

Strategic Objectives:

To empower young women, adolescents, girls, youth (f/M) and PWDs to speak out against discriminatory socio-cultural and harmful practices that limit their access and fulfillment of their human rights to SRHR, MNCH, WASH, HIV/TB information and services.

WOMEN AND GIRLS EMPOWERMENT

ITA believes that women and girls socio economic empowerment will promote gender equitable societies where there is;

  • Gender equality in access to education, health and socio economic empowerment.
  • Women and girls have equitable access to skills-based, capacity building and entrepreneurship training.
  • Improved participation of women in the agric value chain.

Strategic Objectives:

To increase financial resilience of women and girls in their intersecting abilities by promoting their equal participation in the formal and informal economy

TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY

We have the firm believe that women, youth and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) participation in governance process will lead to;

  • Inclusive governance.
  • Increase representation and influence in local governance.
  • Increase their voices in decisions on issues that affect them.

Strategic Objectives:

To promote meaningful participation of socially disadvantaged groups such as women, youth and PWDs in decision making and leadership at the family, community and local level by strengthening their skills and abilities to speak up and demand accountability from service providers and duty bearers.
